Pure copper has an amazing red/brown colour that shines like a warm embrace. When copper is in contact with air and water, a chemical reaction occurs, and the copper will start to oxidize, which means that it will start turning into a dull green colour; this is called a patina. As an example; it took the Statue of Liberty 25 years to turn from bright and shining red to her now characteristic green colour.

Brought in remembrance of my dad who past, he always wore a copper bracelet because copper is supposed to help with arthritis. It has aged wonderfully and I often have compliments. The silver bird bead really sets it off, I'm very happy with my purchase. I should probably give it a clean, I wear it every day!

The goods arrived safely and the packing all intact. When I opened the box the bangle sparkled new and shinny. Just love this new purchase and it fits nicely along side my other two Trollbeads bangles. I just wished I had got one of the other bangles the bigger size but never mind Lynne

Lovely to look at but tarnishes very quickly (I was very careful with perfume on my wrist). I had to invest in a copper cleaning cloth. Even with that the bangle isn’t back to how it was when it arrived.

I have had this for a few years now and it is really nice, easy to wear and comfortable. I tend to only put one or no beads on it but that is as I layer it up with the trollbeads foxtail bracelet and a little beaded bracelet from another shop. It does get a little tarnished but I quite like that look - and if you ever want to clean it up its pretty easy to do with some lemon juice!
