I appreciate that every bead is unique but there is hardly any grain brown markings on my bead so I was a bit disappointed.

Really love this bead. There are a lot of variations to this bead so if you can choose it at a shop or by photos/video. I particularly like it with the drops of kindness bead, neutral but not boring.

This bead caught be by surprise...but a pleasant surprise. It's unusual and not something l would consider but so glad l bought it. I think l chose the best from the selection l saw. The pattern and depth of colours especially the way it has been cut showcases its true beauty. I've received several comments and have pointed them to Trollbeads in Islington. There customer service is excellent! I think you have to see the bead in person as l don't think the pictures do them justice. I ended up purchasing two beads as l couldn't decide which one to have. I paired them up with 2 Seaweed spacers, 2 Luminous connectors, a Drop of Kindess glass bead all on a Twisted Silver Bangle. I'm very happy with my selection and purchase. 😀

I love the pattern of this fossilised wooden bead - it seems to have darkened slightly with wear, making the pattern more visible. A special bead with natural charm .

Really pretty bead with lovely markings. Could'nt believe the difference in the colour between the 2 beads i got they look like different beads really happy.

Delightful enough, but the bead did lack markings seen in the stock photo/other people's photos in reviews. I understand that each of these beads will be unique and markings will vary but unfortunately these were not as pronounced as I hoped for. Still a nice bead if a bit beige...
Think best to see actual bead rather than be at the mercy of pot luck!

Pleasantly surprised with a pale round sunstone

As a long standing collector of Troll , I was excited to see a new bead that would complement my collection.
However, I could not have been more disappointed to receive the fossilised wood bead which really did not live up to its photographs on the website.
The bead looks flat and in my opinion like a cheap copy . It does look a bit like wood , but without the graininess and contrast .
I was expecting the core to be silver like all my other beads - I’m not even sure what this is : it looks brown and plasticky .
I was disappointed .
This has put me off buying online. All my previous stockists in Southampton (John Lewis) Lyndhurst ,Winchester, Salisbury, Norwich ,and Bath do not carry Trollbeads any longer which is sad because I liked to pick out my own individual and unique bead.

I bought the round sunstone gemstone bead, which I have paired with the playful cat. The round bead fits perfectly in the playful cat bead and shows the glittering and swirled effect of the bead as the sun hits it. It is such a stunning bead, highly recommend!

Probably the first time I’ve been really disappointed in a bead I’ve received, I know there will also be variations in natural materials but the bead I received just looks plain beige with one tiny spot of variation, could pretty much be a glass bead, and I would never have picked it up in person
