The Caprese salad comes from the island of Capri in the Gulf of Naples. The dish shows the three colours of the Italian national flag - for Italians a symbol of freedom, unity and pride! Viva Italia!

Caprese

This bead reminded me of peppermint candy canes so thought it would go well on a festive bracelet. I ended up buying 3 as i liked it so much.
